1. Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal and New York State holidays. Standard processing time is 1–3 business days from order confirmation, depending on item availability and order volume. You will receive a confirmation with tracking information once your order ships.
During high-demand periods (back-to-school season, fiscal year-end) processing times may be extended. We will communicate any delays proactively.
2. Carriers
Scholar Supply Co. ships via the following carriers. Carrier selection is based on package size, destination, and cost efficiency.
3. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. We specialize in deliveries to schools and educational institutions in New York City and surrounding New York State communities, though we serve institutions nationally.
We do not currently ship to P.O. Boxes for large or freight-class orders. If your institution uses a P.O. Box, please contact us and we will work with you on delivery options.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are provided at order confirmation and are based on carrier transit estimates — they are not guaranteed delivery dates. Factors affecting delivery include:
- Carrier network delays or weather disruptions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses
- Restricted access to school facilities (e.g., summer closures, security requirements)
If your order is time-sensitive for a program start date or event, please note that when placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and carrier rates at the time of shipment. Shipping charges are confirmed before your order is finalized. For large or bulk institutional orders, we may offer flat-rate or subsidized shipping — please ask.
6. Tracking Your Order
A tracking number will be provided via email once your order ships. You can use this number directly on the carrier's website (ups.com, fedex.com, or usps.com) to monitor delivery status.
7. Delivery Issues
Damaged Packages
If your shipment arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the package and its contents before unpacking fully, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will file a carrier claim on your behalf and arrange a replacement or resolution.
Lost or Missing Packages
If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please first check with your school's receiving office or front desk. If the package cannot be located, contact us and we will initiate a carrier investigation.
Incorrect Address
Please verify your shipping address before confirming your order. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, re-shipment fees may apply.
